Ten Surefire ways to kill your SEO:

You must have come across various articles that talk about ways to build safe and viable links, but today we will talk about the ways you should avoid as using them will lead to SEO suicide. The methods have been compiled from the reports of a prominent Digitalmarketing agency and also some local SEO Expert.

Spun articles: It was a well-proven method, but the latest algorithms find the void and penalize sites for doing so. Spun articles are basically the same article written countless times where it stops making sense. Such articles are in bad faith for the company, and Google considers penalizing the sending of links using these articles.

Comment spamming: This method is a safe attempt to kill your site. Commenting on related sites, blogs, and forums is a great way to connect with people. However, people turn to software that automatically comments on blogs and leaves a link back to the website. The use of such methods is spam, and Google does not treat these problems lightly.

Paid links: Although there is nothing wrong with paid links, they must be done the right way. Getting paid links just to pass PageRank is wrong, and Google wants you to add a rel = ‘Nofollow’ to your links as you use them.

Links from other language sites: Getting more links from other language sites adds a red flag, and you may be penalized for that. However, if the link is from a high-quality site, then it’s fine. You can get consultation on that from Dubai SEO Company in order to avoid any penalty.

Link from pirated and pornographic sites: Links from pirated sites are a big NO. Also, unless you’re related to the adult entertainment industry, getting links from porn sites won’t help you either. So be sure to avoid these sites to save your website reputation.

Low-quality directories: There are many articles and blog directories that exist on the web. A lot of low quality and do not offer any kind of leverage. Therefore, you should stay away from such tactics and keep your site safe.

Non-specific links: These links are the ones you get from sites that are not related to your niche. Google considers these links to be bad and should be avoided.

Guest Escalating Posting: Guest posting is a great way to get high-quality links to your site. But publishing at scale, where content is not taken into account, is not an option. Google penalise you if you try it,  they should be avoided entirely to save yourself from long-term ill effects.

PBN (Private Blogging Networks): Google has taken a particular hostility towards PBNs and persecuted them vigorously last year. Therefore, using PBN to create links is no longer considered feasible and should be avoided to dodge problems.

Forum spam: Creating multiple forum identifiers or using automated services to post to popular forums can be one way to get some quick links. However, the move is not worth it in the long run and should be avoided as a well-known local SEO service provider puts it.
